Gather your pieces
Match the shapes and quantities. The pictures show our colours. Colour names in the steps refer to the pictures; keep useful contrasts, such as a light belly against a dark body.

STEP 1 OF 6
Set down the green six-by-twelve base plate with its long edge running away from you.

STEP 2 OF 6
Place four square bricks in a line down the centre, from front to back: yellow, orange, red, then blue. Leave two stud columns clear along each side.

STEP 3 OF 6
Add a matching square brick to each orange, red and blue stack.

STEP 4 OF 6
Add a matching square brick to each red and blue stack.

STEP 5 OF 6
Add one blue square brick to the blue stack to make the highest step.

STEP 6 OF 6
Place the cream small plate on the highest blue step. Its front edge lines up with that step; two rows project backwards. Check the landing stays attached.
