Step 1 of 10
Add: 2 × green 2 × 3 curved brick

Place two green curved bricks side by side, with their rounded ends towards you.
See the model
Two big dark eyes and yellow-tipped antennae give this green moon visitor a face of its own. Its broad head sits above a small body and two rounded feet.

Match the shape, size and colour to the parts pictures. A stud is a round bump on top. Count rows and columns from one edge.
New pieces keep their full colour. Earlier pieces are lighter. Keep the front of the model facing you unless a step says to turn it.
Gather all the pieces first, then take each step at your own pace. Help your child press pieces together and lift removable parts gently.
The eyes use plain black bricks. The antennae, head and feet are fixed.
Use the matching enlarged Flying saucer and Moon-base hideaway guides for this alien.
Lift the alien gently by its body, with a hand underneath its feet.

Colours show the pictured version. Brown represents Reddish Brown. Match shapes and quantities first; other colour choices have not been checked for this edition.

Add: 2 × green 2 × 3 curved brick

Place two green curved bricks side by side, with their rounded ends towards you.
Add: 1 × blue 2 × 4 plate

Join the feet with a blue 2 × 4 plate across their back two rows.
Add: 1 × green 2 × 2 brick

Centre a green square brick on the blue plate. Leave one blue column showing on each side.
Add: 1 × green 2 × 6 brick

Centre a green 2 × 6 brick across the body. It projects two columns on each side to make the broad bottom of the head.
Add: 2 × black 2 × 2 brick; 1 × green 2 × 2 brick

Put a black square at each end of the jaw and a green square between them. Their back rows sit on the front row of the jaw; the front rows project towards you.
Add: 1 × green 2 × 6 brick

Put a green 2 × 6 brick across the back half of the jaw, level with the eyes. It projects one row backwards.
Add: 2 × green 2 × 6 brick

Cover the head with two green 2 × 6 bricks, one behind the other, lined up with the eyes and back of the head.
Add: 1 × green 2 × 4 plate

Join the two top bricks with a green 2 × 4 plate across their middle. Leave one column clear at each end and one row at the back and front.
Add: 2 × green 1 × 2 double-height wall brick

Stand a green narrow double-height wall brick along each outside column at the back of the head. Each runs over the back two rows.
Add: 2 × yellow 2 × 2 brick

Put a yellow square on each antenna. Line up the outside edges with the head, so each yellow square projects one column towards the middle.
