Match the shapes and quantities. The pictures show our colours. Use the pictured part and stud dimensions to find the same shape.
Count the studs
Studs are the round bumps on top. Count the lines of studs across and along a piece. When a step leaves a clear row or column, keep that space empty. Match the picture to keep the model facing the same way.
Follow the colour
New pieces keep their colour in each step. Earlier pieces are lighter so you can see what to add. The finished-model picture shows all the colours together.
Choose how to play
Choose one model and check its pieces first. Take it apart to reuse those pieces for another model. Pack-wide lists are optional planning tools; the exact-colour list follows the pictured palette.
Gather your pieces
Match the shapes and quantities. The pictures show our colours. Colour names in the steps refer to the pictures. Keep useful contrasts, such as a light belly against a dark body.
Shape-only checklist
Match these shapes and quantities. The full checklist above shows our pictured colours.
Build step by step
01
Step 1. Set out four green square bricks for the feet. Leave two clear columns between left and right feet, and two clear rows between the front and back pairs.
02
Step 2. Join the feet with the green base plate. One column of each foot sticks out at the sides, and one row of the plate projects at each end.
03
Step 3. Put a green long brick on the table behind the body, centred across its width. Cover that tail brick with a green small plate.
04
Step 4. Join the tail to the body with a green small plate, centred over their meeting edge.
05
Step 5. Add a green slope to the back half of the tail, with the low end pointing away from the body.
06
Step 6. Add a green long brick down the middle of the body, directly in front of the tail join.
07
Step 7. Put two green curves side by side at the front for the lower jaw. Their rounded ends project towards you.
08
Step 8. Join the flat rows of the lower jaw with a white small plate turned across them for a pale mouth stripe.
09
Step 9. Add two green curves over the mouth stripe for the upper jaw, rounded ends towards you. This snout stays fixed.
10
Step 10. Put two white square bricks just behind the snout, side by side across the body. Each grips one column of the middle green brick.
11
Step 11. Top the two white bricks with two black squares for raised eyes.
