Match the shapes and quantities. The pictures show our colours. Use the pictured part and stud dimensions to find the same shape.
Count the studs
Studs are the round bumps on top. Count the lines of studs across and along a piece. When a step leaves a clear row or column, keep that space empty. Match the picture to keep the model facing the same way.
Follow the colour
New pieces keep their colour in each step. Earlier pieces are lighter so you can see what to add. The finished-model picture shows all the colours together.
Choose how to play
Choose one model and check its pieces first. Take it apart to reuse those pieces for another model. Pack-wide lists are optional planning tools; the exact-colour list follows the pictured palette.
Gather your pieces
Match the shapes and quantities. The pictures show our colours. Colour names in the steps refer to the pictures. Keep useful contrasts, such as a light belly against a dark body.
Shape-only checklist
Match these shapes and quantities. The full checklist above shows our pictured colours.
Build step by step
01
Step 1. Set four black square hooves in a rectangle. Leave two clear columns between the left and right feet, and four clear rows between the front and back pairs.
02
Step 2. Put a yellow tall square brick on each hoof for four long legs.
03
Step 3. Join the four legs with the yellow base plate. One outer column of each leg remains visible at the sides.
04
Step 4. Cover the rear half of the body with two yellow long bricks side by side.
05
Step 5. Cover the front half with two more yellow long bricks.
06
Step 6. Centre a yellow tall square near the front for the neck. Leave one body row showing in front.
07
Step 7. Add a brown square brick to the neck for a spot. Stack a yellow tall square brick on it.
08
Step 8. Put a yellow long brick along the top of the neck for the head, with two rows projecting forward.
09
Step 9. Put a brown curve at the front of the head for the muzzle. Its rounded end projects forward by one row.
10
Step 10. Put a yellow small plate across the back half of the head for wide ears. Add a brown wall brick at each end for the two little horns.
11
Step 11. Add two brown squares side by side on the rear half of the back for body spots.
