A tall blue and white moon base has a wide front entrance, raised side windows and a roof that lifts away. There is room inside for the Moon alien and its antennae.

Match the shape, size and colour to the parts pictures. A stud is a round bump on top. Count rows and columns from one edge.
New pieces keep their full colour. Earlier pieces are lighter. Keep the front of the model facing you unless a step says to turn it.
Gather all the pieces first, then take each step at your own pace. Help your child press pieces together and lift removable parts gently.
The roof lifts off as one connected piece. The side windows and front entrance stay open.
The Moon alien and sample station are separate builds with their own parts lists.
Use the removable roof to place the alien inside. Carry the building by the floor.
The Moon alien is a separate 16-piece build. Its complete guide and inventory are included in this PDF and offline download.

Colours show the pictured version. Brown represents Reddish Brown. Match shapes and quantities first; other colour choices have not been checked for this edition.

Build
New pieces are in colour. Earlier pieces are lighter.
Add: 2 × white 4 × 8 plate; 1 × white 2 × 8 plate

Lay two white 4 × 8 plates with a white 2 × 8 plate between them. Line up their back and front edges to make a floor ten columns wide and eight rows deep.
Add: 2 × white 2 × 4 double-height brick; 1 × white 2 × 2 double-height brick

Build across the back two rows with white double-height bricks: a 2 × 4, a square, then another 2 × 4. Line up with the floor edges.
Add: 2 × white 2 × 4 double-height brick; 1 × white 2 × 2 double-height brick

Add another row of white double-height bricks across the back: a 2 × 4, a square, then a 2 × 4.
Add: 2 × blue 2 × 2 brick; 1 × blue 2 × 6 brick

Join the back wall with a blue 2 × 6 brick across the middle and a blue square at each end. The long brick crosses both joins in the floor.
Add: 2 × white 2 × 4 double-height brick; 1 × white 2 × 2 double-height brick

Repeat that white row once more to reach the top of the back wall.
Add: 2 × white 2 × 4 double-height brick; 1 × white 2 × 2 double-height brick

Finish the back wall with one more row of the same white double-height bricks.
Add: 4 × white 2 × 4 double-height brick

On each side, stack two white double-height 2 × 4 bricks, running from the back wall towards the front. Keep them inside the floor edges, over rows three to six.
Add: 2 × white 4 × 2 tall window frame

Put a white tall window frame on each side support. Each projects one column outside the floor; its four-row length lines up with the support below.
Add: 4 × white 2 × 2 double-height brick

In each front corner, stack two white double-height squares. Leave the six middle columns clear for the entrance.
Add: 2 × blue 2 × 2 brick

Put a blue square on each front pillar.
Add: 4 × white 2 × 2 double-height brick

Add two more white double-height squares above each blue square. Their tops line up with the back wall and windows.
Add: 2 × white 4 × 8 plate; 1 × white 2 × 8 plate

Lay two white 4 × 8 plates and a white 2 × 8 plate across the walls, in the same arrangement as the floor.
Add: 1 × white 4 × 6 plate

Join all three roof plates with a white 4 × 6 plate across the middle. Leave two columns clear at each side and two rows at the back and front.
Add: 2 × white 2 × 4 double-curved brick

Put two white double-curved bricks side by side in the middle of the roof plate, running from back to front.
