A LITTLE PREPARATION
Gather your pieces
Match the shapes and quantities. The pictures show our colours. Colour names in the steps refer to the pictures; keep useful contrasts, such as a light belly against a dark body.

STEP 1 OF 7
Set two green square plates side by side to make an eight-by-four base.
STEP 2 OF 7
Centre two cream long bricks end to end across the base. Leave one row of green studs showing along each long edge.
STEP 3 OF 7
Join the middle seam with a yellow long brick. Put a yellow square at each end to finish the layer.
STEP 4 OF 7
Add two more cream long bricks across the wall, lined up with the bottom cream layer.
STEP 5 OF 7
Add two blue square plates over the wall, lined up with the green base, for the walkway.
STEP 6 OF 7
Make three cream battlements along the back edge. Leave one stud column between neighbours. The middle brick spans the seam between the blue plates.

Make three cream battlements along the front edge. Leave one stud column between neighbours. The middle brick spans the seam between the blue plates.
