Free builds without an account
You do not need an account to use the instructions. We do not ask for children’s names, birthdays, photographs or profiles.
Your place in a guide
Your browser stores your step and piece checklist on this device for that model revision. This is functional storage, separate from analytics. Start again or clear ticks in the guide; clearing this site’s browser data removes it entirely.
Optional usage measurements
Optional analytics is currently disabled. We do not use recordings, fingerprinting, advertising pixels or cross-device profiles. We never send email addresses, feedback text or search phrases into analytics. Declining has no effect on the guides.
Club emails
Email signup is not yet available. Newsletter permission is separate from future product notifications. Every newsletter includes unsubscribe. We keep a minimal suppression record to respect an opt-out.
Feedback and retention
Feedback contains your selected outcome, optional note, build version and step. Avoid including personal details. Connection and error logs can include IP addresses and requested URLs. The web server rotates logs weekly, keeping four access-log rotations and ten error-log rotations for service operation and security. Unconfirmed signups are flagged for review after 30 days. Resolved feedback is automatically removed after 12 months. Analytics delivery receipts are removed after 30 days. When enabled, the analytics provider’s retention is configured and recorded in the admin setup notes.
Keeping information safe
Audience exports and editorial records are restricted to our private administration workspace. We use encrypted connections. Data backups have a planned 30-day retention; deletion requests are reapplied if a backup is restored.
Children and the site
Children may use the guides alongside adults. Our default experience therefore has no public profiles, photo uploads, targeted advertising or behavioural personalisation.
