A LITTLE PREPARATION
Gather your pieces
Match the shapes and quantities. The pictures show our colours. Colour names in the steps refer to the pictures; keep useful contrasts, such as a light belly against a dark body.

STEP 1 OF 11
Place the green wide plate with its six-stud length running from back to front.

STEP 2 OF 11
Start the tower with four cream square bricks, leaving one clear row at the front and back of the green plate.

STEP 3 OF 11
Add a red stripe with two long bricks side by side, running from back to front.

STEP 4 OF 11
Add another cream layer with four square bricks.

STEP 5 OF 11
Add a red stripe with two long bricks side by side, running from back to front.

STEP 6 OF 11
Add another cream layer with four square bricks.

Cover the tower with the blue wide plate, aligned with the green base, to make a balcony.

Make the lantern room with four yellow square bricks, directly above the tower.

Put the red square plate over the yellow lantern room.

Add four red roof slopes. Point the low ends outward to the left and right, with the high edges meeting in the middle.

Centre the blue square brick across the top ridge to finish the beacon.
