Choose a build before gathering pieces

Open See the pieces to compare the shapes and quantities with your collection. Little footbridge uses 2 × 4 bricks, a 4 × 8 plate and 1 × 2 double-height wall bricks. Our Rectangular bricks & plates collection also includes models with flat plates and taller bricks; check the listed sizes before choosing.

Read the dimensions

Studs are the bumps on top. A 2 × 4 brick has two rows of four studs. A plate is lower than a brick, and a double-height brick is taller: the same footprint does not always mean the same part. Match the pictured shape, height and part number when one is shown. A wheeled base counts as one assembled part.

Choose your colours

Match the shapes and quantities. The pictures show our colours. Colour names in the instructions refer to those pictures. Use the same part in another colour if you like; keeping a light belly against a darker body can help an animal stay recognisable.

Missing a shape?

A different colour is different from a different shape. Do not assume another shape will attach in the same way. Use the shapes filter to choose another build, or select Missing a piece at the end of the guide and tell us which part you need.

One model or several

Start with one model’s list. Pack-wide exact-colour inventories are optional planning tools: Build one at a time lets you reuse pieces, while Build everything together keeps all the models assembled.
