Before you build

Find the pieces

Match the shapes and quantities. The pictures show our colours. Use the pictured part and stud dimensions to find the same shape.

Count the studs

Studs are the round bumps on top. Count the lines of studs across and along a piece. When a step leaves a clear row or column, keep that space empty. Match the picture to keep the model facing the same way.

Follow the colour

New pieces keep their colour in each step. Earlier pieces are lighter so you can see what to add. The finished-model picture shows all the colours together.

Choose how to play

Choose one model and check its pieces first. Take it apart to reuse those pieces for another model. Pack-wide lists are optional planning tools; the exact-colour list follows the pictured palette.

Eight order cards

ORDER 01

One burger, please. Lift the bun to show me the layers, then serve it.

ORDER 02

A sundae, please. Can you point to the cherry before serving?

ORDER 03

One pepper pizza portion, please. Lift it by its yellow base and put it back after the order.

ORDER 04

Put one food beside the till on the counter. Open the till cover for pretend payment, then close it and swap roles.

ORDER 05

Breakfast, please. Serve the toast beside the pancakes on the table. Lift off the butter before serving a pancake from the top.

ORDER 06

One striped ice lolly, please. Name its pretend flavours and serve it flat on the table.

ORDER 07

One red-topped sushi roll, please. Lift the complete roll by its black base, then return it to the tray.

ORDER 08

A pretend coffee and toast, please. Put a tiny paper cup in the machine, point to a control, then serve the drink and toast beside it.
