Count the studs
Studs are the round bumps on top. Count the lines of studs across and along a piece. When a step leaves a clear row or column, keep that space empty. Match the picture to keep the model facing the same way.
Follow the colour
New pieces keep their colour in each step. Earlier pieces are lighter so you can see what to add. The finished-model picture shows all the colours together.
Choose how to play
Choose one model and check its pieces first. Take it apart to reuse those pieces for another model. Pack-wide lists are optional planning tools; the exact-colour list follows the pictured palette.

Build step by step

Step 1. Place two orange long bricks end to end for a low tail and body support. Add a white curve at the back with its rounded tip pointing away from you.

Step 2. Join the white tip and orange tail with an orange small plate, centred over their join.

Step 3. Join the two orange support bricks with another orange small plate, centred over their join.

Step 4. Put two orange square feet on the table, one on each side of the front of the body.

Step 5. Join the feet to the body with a white medium plate across the front. It sits on the feet, below the projecting body.

Step 6. Put an orange long brick over the front support, starting one row behind the feet. Its rear half rests on the joining plate.

Step 7. Stack another orange long brick directly on the first for a sitting body.

Step 8. Place a white long brick across the top of the body as the cheeks, centred left to right.

Step 9. Add an orange long brick across the cheeks for the head.

Step 10. Add an orange slope at each side of the head for two ears. Their high studded edges face outward, leaving a dip between the ears.

Step 11. Place a white curve on the exposed front row of the cheeks, pointing forward as the muzzle. Add a black square on its flat rows for the nose.
