Count the studs
Studs are the round bumps on top. Count the lines of studs across and along a piece. When a step leaves a clear row or column, keep that space empty. Match the picture to keep the model facing the same way.
Follow the colour
New pieces keep their colour in each step. Earlier pieces are lighter so you can see what to add. The finished-model picture shows all the colours together.
Choose how to play
Choose one model and check its pieces first. Take it apart to reuse those pieces for another model. Pack-wide lists are optional planning tools; the exact-colour list follows the pictured palette.

Match the shapes and quantities. The pictures show our colours. Colour names in the steps refer to the pictures. Keep useful contrasts, such as a light belly against a dark body. The frog curved legs are Bright Green; its other green parts are Green.

Build step by step

Step 1. Set two green long bricks parallel for the feet, leaving two clear columns between them.

Step 2. Join their front two rows with a white medium plate turned across both feet for a broad lower lip.

Step 3. Add a Bright Green double-curved brick over each foot, behind the white plate. Their rear ends project two rows behind the feet.

Step 4. Centre a green long brick across the white lip, leaving a white column showing at each side.

Step 5. Make a broad green face with two small plates side by side, running towards you. Their back row starts one row behind the green head brick.

Step 6. Put one white square on the flat middle rows of each curved back leg for raised eyes.

Step 7. Finish with a black square on each white eye brick.
Ready to play
Draw lily pads on paper and move the frog between them by hand.
Count its two eyes and find its broad back legs.
